Best CRM for Celebrants in Australia (2026): An Honest Comparison

The best CRM depends on whether you need Australian marriage paperwork built in or a flexible general business system. For NOIM-focused work, compare Ceremony Hub and Celebrant Central first; for broader creative-business workflows, Studio Ninja, 17hats, Dubsado and HoneyBook deserve a look too.

Disclosure: Ceremony Hub publishes this guide and is included in it. We link to each vendor’s own product or pricing page, distinguish advertised features from unverified ones, and update prices when we can verify a change.

How do the options compare?

“Not specified publicly” means we could not confirm it from the linked vendor page—not that the product definitely lacks it. Pricing is the vendor’s published monthly option, before temporary promotions.

Hosting covers more than a database region: email, payments, analytics and support processors can be elsewhere. We have not marked any vendor as fully AU-hosted without end-to-end verification. USD prices are not converted to AUD because exchange rates move.

Questions celebrants ask before choosing

Which CRM is best for an Australian marriage celebrant?

If you need a celebrant-specific NOIM workflow, compare Ceremony Hub and Celebrant Central first. Ceremony Hub is a flat A$10/month with unlimited bookings and NSW LifeLink assistance. Celebrant Central currently advertises a Form 15 register, WA BDM prefill and pay-per-active-ceremony pricing. A general CRM may suit you better if your work spans several industries.

Do general CRMs handle the NOIM and Australian registry lodgement?

The public product pages checked for Studio Ninja, 17hats, Dubsado and HoneyBook do not describe a built-in Australian NOIM or BDM-lodgement workflow. That is not proof they cannot store related documents; ask for a demonstration of the exact legal steps you need.

Does a BDM prefill extension lodge a marriage automatically?

No. Prefill means bringing saved details into a registry form for a celebrant to review. The celebrant remains responsible for checking the information and completing the registry process.

Are all these prices in Australian dollars?

No. Ceremony Hub, Celebrant Central, My Celebrant and the Australian Studio Ninja prices shown here are in AUD. 17hats, Dubsado and HoneyBook publish the referenced prices in USD; exchange rates, tax, discounts and billing frequency can change your actual cost.

How this comparison was checked

Features and list prices were checked against each vendor’s linked public pages on 30 September 2026. We have not independently tested every competitor account. Plans, tax treatment and availability can change; verify the current checkout and ask for a demonstration of any legal workflow before migrating your records.

A CRM can help prepare forms but it does not replace a celebrant’s duty to check identity, comply with the Marriage Act 1961 and Attorney-General’s Department guidance, and complete the relevant BDM process.
